After an impressive third place finish in the Modified Harley-Davidson Class at the 2011 AMD World Championships in Sturgis, South Dakota, Shaw Harley-Davidson’s Bell & Ross inspired custom built Nascafe Racer was exhibited in Nashville, TN on October 21, 2011, with King Jewelers and Harley Davidson of Columbia, TN. The event was hosted at Tavern in Midtown Nashville as guests enjoyed cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and motorcycles in style. Stacie Orloff, President of Bell & Ross, and Eric Frank, National Sales Manager, joined David King and the King Jewelers team as the new 2011 Bell & Ross timepieces were on display including the Vintage WW1 collection and the limited edition Airborne Tourbillon.

Bell & Ross BR01 Casino Roulette Radar Watch

Bell & Ross announced what their contribution will be to the Only Watch charity auction in September. The BR01 Casino watch is modeled in design after the disc system used on Bell & Ross’s Radar watch, but the dial is stylized with a brown and pink gold casino roulette wheel. Bell & Ross opted for this motif as a reference to where the auction will take place, the Casino of Monaco.

Friday, March 4th — Nfocus Magazine’s annual Model Behavior fashion show took place this past Friday at the W.O. Smith School. Part fashion feature and part philanthropy, Model Behavior honors ten female members from a wide range of non-profit organizations around Nashville. The theme of this year’s show was “Shimmer and Shine” and featured uniquely fabulous jewelry and shoes designs from a selection of local stores and boutiques.

Bell & Ross Presents the Vintage Original Carbon Watch

Bell & Ross’s popular Vintage Collection was developed to honor 1940′s aviators who regarded wristwatches as an important instrument for their jobs. This year Bell & Ross is scheduled to release a new member of the Vintage Original collection at Baselworld: The Vintage Original Carbon watch. The goal of Bell & Ross was to create a watch that was both true to its vintage heritage and reminiscent of a plane’s instrument panel while maintaining a powerful modern punch behind the watch dial.

Two versions of the Vintage Original Carbon watch are going to be released, the hours and minutes and a chronograph. Both watches have the circular case design of vintage aviation watches with an anti-glare, matte black carbon finished influenced by the color of plane instrumentation panels. The large Arabic numerals and white hands stand out starkly from the dark dial, both with a photo-luminescent coated that insures that this watch will be readable by night as well as day. The crystal maintains the curved design of vintage watches, but has been updated to be made of a highly resistant sapphire crystal.

“The Boss” and Bell & Ross at TIFF

“The Boss” Bruce Springsteen recently appeared at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) sporting a Bell & Ross BR03-92 Military watch to debut his documentary “The Promise: The Making of Darkness on the Edge of Town.” According to the festival’s website, “The documentary explores the creative process of his pivotal 1978 album, where his focus shifts from youth to adulthood. Interviewed in the film, Springsteen often reaches for cinematic comparisons to describe his songs. That sparked the idea to invite him for a longer conversation about the interplay between music and film.”

Bell & Ross introduces Vintage Collection

As an homage to the aviators of the 1940’s who first used the wristwatch professionally, Bell & Ross has designed the Vintage Collection. While each line of the collection is unique, all of the watches share the same shape, movements, and inspiration. Each watch features a round case, domed sapphire crystal, refined dial graphics, and an automatic (BR 123) or a chronograph function (BR 126). Both lines of the collection, Vintage Original and Vintage Heritage, illustrate the brand’s signature qualities: reliability, readability, accuracy, and functionality.
